Introducing Microsoft Phone Link and Link to Windows

Phone Link now has a matching Windows 11 design

It’s been an exciting journey for Microsoft since they first announced Your Phone and Your Phone Companion apps back in October 2018.

Microsoft have rebranded it’s Your Phone app to Phone Link. It was designed over 3 years ago to link your Android to your Windows computer to avoid picking up your mobile phone device when checking notifications or picking up calls. The new design now matches the Windows 11 design.

New look

An all-new polished design of Phone Link on your PC by updating the app’s interface to complement Microsoft’s Windows 11 design language. It’s still the simple and elegant app, but it’s been newly optimized so you can feel confident about staying in touch with all your content.

The updated Phone Link app includes a color palette and design that matches Windows 11, with refreshed controls, illustrations, and iconography, all the important features you care about are now easier to use than ever

Link to Windows on Android devices

If you were previously running Link to Windows on your Android device, be sure to update the app to receive the new version.

  • The Link to Windows app is preinstalled on select Samsung, HONOR, and Surface Duo devices that are running Android 9.0 or later. On such devices, you can find the Link to Windows app under the Quick Settings menu by swiping down from the top of your screen.
  • For all other Android devices running Android 7.0 or later, download the new Link to Windows app from the Google Play Store.
